This is a truly stunning collection of images—many never seen before—by Ortiz Echagüe, one of the great masters of 20th-century Spanish photography. Its 79 photographs document his journey through Morocco, capturing its culture, life and landscape, from conventional pictorialist imagery to his more experimental photography of North African culture. Working closely with Fernando Gutiérrez, I developed the book design, contributing to decisions on layout, typography and paper choices.
